Amidst a season of societal heaviness, confusion, and constraint, the husband-wife duo of Jacob and Jasmine Mayeda emerged out of nowhere as JUICYPEAR (SoCal, actually) in the back-half of 2020 with a series of shimmery, soulful, power-pop tunes that delivered an essential dosage of levity and bliss to weary souls worldwide. "Future, disco, pop" is how they describe the sound that they just happened upon one day in the studio. "This project just kinda appeared," says Jasmine "it's the project that we didn't know we wanted and needed." Travis Holcombe has been a staple of the Los Angeles radio airwaves since 2011. In 2016, he was named Best Radio DJ in Los Angeles by LA Weekly. He is currently the host and DJ of FREAKS ONLY, weeknights 8-10pm on KCRW.

In addition to the nightly radio show, he has also hosted AXS TV's flagship music show AXS Live, served as the national voice NPR sponsor credits 2015-2017, and was a subject of Don Julio Tequila's Make Your Move ad campaign.
